… am asking for testimonials.

 

I ran a webinar yesterday and today, as part of the follow-up materials, I invited participants to provide, “a testimonial with your name and company that we can use to promote future classes of this event.”

Two things to note here.

First, the sooner you ask, whether from an event, a client project, or whatever, the better the testimonials. Even a week later and people start to forget the specifics.

Second, we wrap the permission to use “your name and company” into the request, so it’s a simple, one-step process.

And, by the way, thanks to those of you who joined us on the call yesterday. As expected, you were an energetic group!
