… answered a newsletter question.
A client emailed, asking whether or not it was a bad idea to include the company logo in the newsletter header.
I gave her a quick answer (it’s not a great idea), and suggested she think of it as part of a larger strategy:
The more you shift the balance in your newsletter from “create a great magazine that our target audience cares about” to “promote the company,” the less effective (in promoting your company) your newsletter will be.
I know, it’s kind of mind-bending!
