… have been promoting a free webinar I’m offering next week.

I’m also opening the doors on a product and this webinar will talk about it – a teeny bit – at the end, as well as offer a discount on the product for people who attend.

It’s a lot easier to get people to show up to something free than it is to get them to buy something outright.

But, if you tie the two together – and aren’t too heavy handed about promoting whatever you’re selling – the “free” gives them a chance to check you out and consider taking the next step.
