bought a new car in January.

Among its many fun features is its ability to charge your phone wirelessly. You simply place it in the little cubbyhole beneath the dash and it happens.

As someone whose mantra is, “Never pass up an opportunity to charge your phone or to pee,” I’m sure you can understand the appeal of this attribute.

The problem, however, is that since the phone is out of plain view, I keep forgetting to take it with me when I get out of the car.

The same phenomenon applies when selling a professional service: visibility is a critical aspect of being remembered.

The solution? You need to participate, noticeably and regularly.

Yes, how and what you do to remain visible does matter.

But the truth is, half the game is just showing up.
