A friend asked me to review her newsletter before publishing the first one.

I had a few suggestions that I sent back to her.

At the very end I said: Don’t worry too much. You’ll get way better at this as you write more and more. One more revision and just send it!

Like babies, getting the first one out is the hardest. People tend to polish and polish, hoping to make it perfect. Mostly, all they end up doing is delaying it.

There is no perfect. And until you get it out there, nothing happens. 

So push “send” and start writing the next one!
