It was a two-minute video, in which I used People Magazine to make a point.

I first used that analogy in my newsletter in May of 2005.

At the same time, I recorded it as a podcast.

Three years later, that newsletter (more or less) became a chapter in my book.

And in the time since I wrote that original post, I’ve told the “People Magazine story” at least 15 times as part of presentations to live audiences.

The point is, when you develop original content, you get to use it and reuse it in as many different iterations as you can imagine.

One more reason to start – and keep – publishing!
