… received an apology note from a vendor.
The company – ReadyTalk – had a serious service outage last week.
I’m a regular, long-time user of the service. I’m even an affiliate (here’s my link) promoting the service to other people. So kind of a big deal.
The apology letter they sent was terrific (you can read it here).
No beating around the bush. No pointing fingers elsewhere. And real names – and contact info – of real people, including the CEO who wrote the note.
Interestingly, following the outage, I’m now an even bigger fan.
