You know, that date that sits in the footer of your web site, newsletter, and blog, and that tells the world you are the author and rightful owner of the content you create.

Well, now that it’s 2025, it needs to be updated.

All of mine are actually updated automatically (I have no idea how, my tech guru Barry Shuchter set it up for me long ago). But if yours doesn’t, now is the time.

P.S. Speaking of which, sort of, if you have a blog on your web site that you no longer add to, you don’t have to remove all that old content – just get rid of the dates next to each post and your wisdom will still feel fresh.
