… was in Starbucks with an hour to kill before a lunch meeting.
Uh oh, their wi-fi wasn’t working.
Can’t read e-mail. Can’t visit web sites. Can’t check the weather in Ecuador.
So I pulled out a piece of paper (it’s a flat thing that you don’t have to plug in, never crashes and you can write on it).
Then I spent the time sketching out some thoughts about an upcoming project.
Surprisingly productive – and satisfying.
Wow. I may have to go old school more often. How about you?
Old school for brain-storming all the way! Something about a pen and a blank page…….I make lists too! It’s very satisfying at the end of the day/week to look at all those items crossed off.
You know it’s funny, Laura, but I didn’t think until just now that I keep a weekly list on paper as well! Old School Rocks (as opposed to School of Rock).
